Padmanaban was the first Kinetic Control Tutor in Asia and was instrumental in establishing the Movement Health message across this region. Now, with over 80 workshops across major cities in India, he is teaching courses overseas including UAE, Malaysia, and Kuwait.
Padmanaban is presently the Chief of Physiotherapy & Rehabilitation Services at Sparsh Group of Hospitals, managing growth & operations of 5 Hospital units across Karnataka. A specialist Physiotherapist and an experienced clinician, his clinical practice includes managing and overseeing an average of 80,000 treatment sessions per year. As a go-to sports clinician in the city, he is routinely consulted for injury prevention and performance rehab by many amateur and elite Indian athletes including- Indian National & Olympic Track & Field athletes, Pro Kabaddi players, Indian Davis Cup team, Bengaluru FC & International Badminton players. He has recently established Sportho, a specialist sports medicine unit within his hospital, Sportho is considered the premier sports medicine center in the region that focuses on comprehensive injury management and return to competitive performance.
Padmanaban graduated with a distinction in a Masters in Physical Therapy from Keele University, Staffordshire (UK). Padmanaban has been invited as speaker/ faculty in many national & international conferences and published original research in top-ranking international journals which include the Journal of Arthroscopy, Journal of Shoulder & Elbow Surgery, European Journal of Orthopedic Surgery.
