THE ROAD TO QUALIFICATION
To ensure that our education is always delivered to the highest standard, we maintain a robust programme of training and qualification for potential tutors. Here's how it works:
QUALIFY IN MSP
All of our tutors must first qualify in Movement Science Practitioner. Doing so will ensure that you have a firm grounding in MSP control principles and practice.
MSP TUTOR COURSE
Our MSP tutor course will begin the transition from practitioner to tutor. This course comprises three 3-hour modules delivered by a senior MSP tutor where you'll learn how to teach, polish your knowledge of MSP material and even participate in practical elements such as micro-teaches.
MSP TUTOR MENTORING
To further prepare you for the qualification process, we can provide mentoring from one of our existing MSP Tutors. These experienced educators have years of experience in their field and can provide valuable insights to candidates.
TRAIN THE TRAINER
Before taking the KCAT exam, we'll ask you to take our rigorous 'teaching solution' course. This rigorous online course is a recognised Level 3 qualification and will give you a firm grounding in teaching best practice. This course is mandatory for all Comera trainers.
MSP TUTOR EXAM
The final step of qualification is our MSP tutor exam. This will test your knowledge and skills against our rigorous assessment framework. Once you complete this stage, you'll be a qualified MSP tutor, eligible to teach courses.
SENIOR MSP EXAM
For experienced MSP tutors looking to take their next step, we offer an advanced MSP tutor exam. This will allow applicants to become a senior MSP tutor and mentor other prospective MSP tutors.
