MOVEMENT SCIENCE PRACTITIONER SERIES PILATES, FITNESS AND WELLNESS
MSP Movement, Analysis and Training
The first of a series of modules for movement professionals working in fitness and wellness, that applies Comera Movement Science’s blend of anatomy, biomechanics, and neuroscience research, to enhance practitioners’ exercise interventions with their clients.
Understanding & Facilitating Movement Options
Part B takes the skills of observation and interpretation from Part A, refines them, and applies them to a range of different regions.
The initial stage of Part B is delivered via e-learning, completed prior to the attendance of 3 face to face workshops. These workshops will progressively develop your practical application of the insights delivered within Part A and B’s e-learning components.
Each workshop focusses on specific regions, applying the muscle classification model and skills of observation and cueing to the trunk, the neck and shoulder, and the hip and lower leg.
Movement Science Practitioner Accreditation (MSPA) Exam
The final element of the MSP series allows you to attain the Movement Science Practitioner Accreditation (MSPA).
To gain MSPA status, the candidate must satisfy the assessor with respect to the three components of case study, viva, and practical demonstration.
A pass must be achieved in all three sections to achieve MSPA status. The exam will last between 60-90 minutes and can be conducted virtually.
