    < Team Beate Stindt Kinetic Control Tutor ​ Note English Note South Africa "Moved by movement: ‘One day, Kinetic Control will be the basis of how physios treat throughout the world" SUMMARY After her initial exposure to Kinetic Control in her native South Africa, Beate was so inspired by the systemised movement focused process she took the decision to move to the UK to further her skills. As part of the tutor team, her extensive clinical experience and belief in the system helps other physios from all over the world to see movement and its potential through the lens of Kinetic Control. BIOGRAPHY This belief in the power of movement extends both personally and professionally, and as a passionate and experienced sportsperson, Beate enjoys ultra-challenges, especially trail running and Ironman. Against this backdrop and knowledge of going through the ‘hard yards’, Beate has unique insight into patients with running-related injuries and issues. Indeed, for her ‘movement’ is the ‘solution’, stating her pet hate as hearing that patients have been told to stop running because it’s bad for their backs and knees. She believes that movement combined with the skills of a well-trained physio, can keep individuals of all background’s injury free and in good Movement Health. Beate believes Kinetic Control continues to further the field of physiotherapy, hoping one day, Kinetic Control will be the basis of how all physios treat throughout the world. Beate now practices clinically from her movement focused clinic in Port Elizabeth, South Africa and plans on expanding the Kinetic Control movement in South Africa.

BIOGRAPHY John has spent nearly 25 years working in the field of health, performance, and rehabilitation, with client groups including those operating at an elite level in the field of sailing, cricket, and motor racing. Alongside these performance-based individuals, he has extensive experience of working with other specialised client groups and challenging medical conditions such as MS, Parkinson's disease, diabetes, and cancer. Fundamental to his clients’ successes has been the recognition that well-controlled movement is the cornerstone of physical performance and functional pain-free living. Graduating from King's College London with a BSc (Hons) physiology, his undergraduate research work on respiratory control was published in the Journal of Applied Physiology. Holding numerous fitness industry qualifications, he is also a fully qualified teacher and assessor (PGCE from UCL, Institute of Education). John has more than a decade of experience with The Performance Matrix (TPM) system, applying its principals of analysis and retraining to a wide variety of client projects. John is absolutely committed to the principal of continuing education for movement practitioners. Over the last 10 years, he has been tutoring and assessing fellow fitness professionals. strength and conditioning coaches, physiotherapists and assorted medical professionals. What has united these varied disciplines is the pursuit of unrestricted, efficient, purposeful and pain-free movement.

    < Team Lincoln Blandford Head of Research, Education & Development​ ​ Note English Note United Kingdom "Movement Health: choice in both the ‘how’ and the ‘what’ of movement" SUMMARY Working closely with Mark Comerford and Sarah Mottram over the past decade, Lincoln has not only helped design, develop, and deliver the education but also the fundamental concepts that support Kinetic Control, The Performance Matrix (TPM) and Movement Science Practitioner Series. BIOGRAPHY His role as Head of Research, Education, and Development has allowed Lincoln to work closely with the Comera Movement Science team in expanding the offering of Movement Health inspired educational content. This role has seen him assist his colleagues’ understanding and application of the Movement Health concept and supported their ability to transmit this message to clinicians and coaches within elite sport and private practice around the world. Lincoln has also focused on developing his own ability to capture his course attendees' attention through an engaging teaching style, the use of schematics, and a keen sense of humour. Originally educated within strength and conditioning science, he has sought to blend the structure of performance focused professions with the clinical expertise of CMS and share this insight across a range of disciplines. He has a particular interest in exercise design and the integration of movement assessment into long-term programming for performance. His MRes focussed on quantifying execution of cognitive movement control tests and exploring the proposed relationship between loss of movement choice and clinically relevant features of movement variability. Considered an accomplished writer, he has published multiple times in peer-reviewed journals to include Biomechanics MDPI, Clinical Biomechanics, Gait and Posture, Physical Therapy in Sport, Musculoskeletal Science and Practice. Focussing on a diverse range of topics from Movement Health to hamstring strain injury from both a theoretical and applied perspective, these publications have led to conference presentations including appearances at the Football Medicine Strategies events in both 2016 and 2019. He maintains strong connections with St Mary’s University where he is currently engaged in a PhD Studentship, delivering on both undergraduate and post graduate programmes including the Applied Sports Biomechanics MSc.

It’s about participation and enjoying every activity in life, for life" SUMMARY Hunter believes people all move differently and there are no absolutely right or wrong movements; what matters is just how many movement options we have and how we use them each day. BIOGRAPHY As a physiotherapist who is passionate about exercise, Hunter is constantly analysing and practising the movement of different training approaches. This process of investigation is then integrated alongside his understanding of Kinetic Control, and his own exercise and clinical experience in to working with a wide range of clients. His clinical practice is more than just managing their pain; he is also enhancing movement efficiency, performance, and reducing injury recurrence. On completing his BSc in Physiotherapy from National Yang-Ming University in Taiwan, Hunter has provided exercise and manual therapy within a rehabilitation clinic. In addition to clinical work, he frequently shares health information and the promotion of physiotherapy through social media streams. Although an experienced weight trainer, he recognises many of his clients’ issues are the result of inefficient movement and altered coordination, which require a different approach to traditional strength training. Hunter says, ‘Many people experience anxiety when moving their body due to current pain or their pain experience, sometimes even though they don’t feel any pain now’: To address this state, Hunter believes everyone should have the chance to recognise the importance of Movement Health, and this also includes his fellow clinicians.

She is passionate about taking the message about the importance of movement control and movement impairments to her colleagues in Chile. BIOGRAPHY She champions the importance of movement retraining in a clinical reasoning framework and believes this sets physiotherapists apart from other health professionals. Movement is the key to the future development of physiotherapy! Looking at movement has added a new dimension to managing musculoskeletal disorders. Camila completed her undergraduate training in the Universidad Mayor in Santiago, Chile and later did her postgraduate degree in Orthopaedic Manual Therapy in Santiago as well. She works with people with musculoskeletal disorders. Now she is working for a private clinic in Santiago and taking classes for undergraduates in Physiotherapy. She has done formation in several Manual Therapy Techniques, Pilates and works with Motor Control since 2011.

An online platform that supplies a battery of tests (matrices) that help reveal risk associated movements at differing tasks intensities. For each matrix, the system generates both a low and a high threshold report of risk. Revolutionized my clinical practice." SUMMARY My name is Phoenix and I am a Team Sports Physician Director. I also give lectures at the university.I love Kinetic Control and it makes my patients walk out of the clinic happy. BIOGRAPHY When the football players I manage are injured and unable to return to the field efficiently. I found that they couldn't control their injuries effectively and couldn't get back to their best form on the training ground. That's when I used Kinetic Control and a miracle happened, the football players back were even better than before. After that, I also applied TPM to better detect I manage football players, dancers, race car drivers to prolong their sports career. Kinetic Control is a real gem and the TPM is the most effective tool I have ever used. It is my happiest moment to see every patient happily returning to their playing field.
